Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to participate in the 2007 UC Davis Reproductive Biology Colloquium to be held in 1005 GBSF (Genome Center Auditorium). The Colloquium is sponsored by the Designated Emphasis in Reproductive Biology , the Animal Biology Graduate Group, and the Storer Lectureship in Life Sciences . The Colloquium will provide an opportunity for UC Davis graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty to share and exchange research results and interests in reproductive biology.

The format of the Colloquium will be primarily poster presentations. We hope that all participants will present posters on their latest research results, or proposed experiments, or provocative ideas or speculations they wish to discuss with others. The purpose of the poster presentations is not only to present recent research results, but also to promote discussion, interaction, and collaboration amongst UC Davis reproductive biologists.

Also, we will have Dr. John Eppig, as our Special Guest Speaker . The title of his talk will be "Oocyte control of granulosa development and function" .
