West Coast Equine Reproduction Symposium II

Meeting Objectives

The symposium will provide a two day forum for exchange of timely topics on reproductive management of the stallion and mare for the practicing veterinarian and breeder. On the third day the wet lab will provide hands-on opportunities on endoscopic evaluation of the reproductive tract of the mare and stallion, low dose insemination of the mare, processing and handling cooled and frozen semen, grading and packaging embryos and embryo vitrification. Proceeds will go to support the 9th International Symposium on Equine Reproduction to be held in The Netherlands, 2006.

Note: The course meets the requirements for 18 hours of continuing education credit under the standards and criteria of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards' (AAVSB) Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) program. Attendees are encouraged to check with their licensing jurisdiction(s) for information regarding recognition by the board.
