  • Jennifer Hughes received a 2014 Larry Ewing Memorial Trainee Travel Fund grant to the Annual Meeting of the Society for the Study of Reproduction
  • Kat Tomalty won a P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Scholar Award for her last two years of Vet School upon finishing her PhD with Bernie May in Genetics this summer.  This is a “Women helping women reach for the stars” program www.peointernational.org/

  • Alison Van Eenennaam gave an invited presentation “Innovations in the identification of genetically superior animals: impacts of  genomic tools on genetic evaluation programs” at IX Simcorte, an international beef cattle production conference in Viçosa, Brazil
  • Francine Bradley taught Game Fowl Health Assurance Refresher Courses in Tulare and Lodi
