  • Alison Van Eenennaam finished filming for the upcoming full-length feature documentary "Food Evolution" directed by Academy-nominated Scott Hamilton Kennedy which is being funded by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) - look for its release in 2016

  • Peter Robinson & Grace Cun co-authors of “Depletion of selenium in blood, liver and muscle from beef heifers previously fed forages containing high levels of selenium” in Science of the Total Environment
  • Katie Cassinerio, Jim Fadel, Jed Asmus, Jennifer Heguy, Scott Taylor, & Ed DePeters author “Tomato seeds as a novel by-product feed for lactating dairy cows” in J Dairy Sci

OUTREACH AND TRAVEL

  • Alison Van Eenennaam was and will be all over the world presenting: “Prevalence and impacts of genetically engineered feedstuffs on livestock populations”, Minnesota Nutrition Conference, Prior Lake, MN; “Producer Uptake: How might genomic information to translated to industry outcomes” BRD symposium, American Association of Bovine Practitioners conference, New Orleans, LA; “GMO Myths, Facts and the Future” a GoTo Internet Webinar for dieticians and nutritionists, organized by Southeast United Dairy Industry Association (SUDIA) in Atlanta, GA; “Communicating the hard stuff”, Dairy Australia, Melbourne, Australia
  • Francine Bradley facilitated a meeting with representatives from the Latin American poultry technical associations in Ecuador and met with Ecuadorian consular, municipal, and poultry industry representatives to start a WPSA Branch in Ecuador; she attended the Latin American Poultry Conference (3,700 in attendance)  in Guayaquil & staffed the WPSA booth
