Donut Day

Animal Science Library, 2202 Meyer Hall, Thursdays 9:30 am - 11:00 pm.

For new members of the Department, Doughnut Day is a Thursday morning tradition held throughout the school year. We can thank the Peer Advisers from the first-floor Advising Center for keeping the tradition alive.

Doughnut Day is intended to provide an opportunity for members of the Animal Science Department to meet, sit and talk in a fashion that busy schedules usually prevent during the rest of the week. Stop by the Library/Coffee Room from about 9:30 on and sit for a spell; likely you'll be joined by others taking advantage of the chance to learn more about what's going on in the Department and maybe even the rest of the world.

Note that last year's departmental Library/Coffee Room Committee reaffirmed that Doughnut Day was purposefully not called "Grab-A-Doughnut-and-Run Day"; Doughnut Day is intended for the Library/Coffee Room area. Doughnut Day is also self-supporting, and doughnut-eaters are asked to leave a donation to offset the cost of buying doughnuts.
