Who we are: Block and Bridle is the National Animal Science Club that has an established chapter at U.C. Davis. The club encompasses a wide variety of opportunities for its members and cares to all areas of interest in the animal sciences. We have many people speak at meetings and who are available for students to ask questions. A few of these people include, but are not limited to, Professors, Barn Managers, Internship Committees, and Veterinary Students. We participate in activities throughout campus such as Picnic Day and Welcome Week. As well as presenting our own club activities for Undergraduate Students such as the Little International Stock Show, the Chili Cook-Off, Artificial Insemination Clinic, and more. For a more detailed calendar of events and speakers please check our meeting agendas. Block and Bridle is a National Organization that is shared among numerous colleges and universities. For more information please look into our national site.  The Block and Bridle Club holds meetings the first Wednesday of every month at 7 pm at the Animal Science Teaching Facility.  All majors are welcome at our meetings and you need not be a member to attend meetings or events.

Objective: To complete a higher scholastic standard and a more complete understanding of the field of Animal Science among student members. To promote Animal Sciences through the developmental programs and activities. As well as bringing about a closer relationship among all students pursuing some phase of Animal Science as a profession.
