Mr. Kirk Adkins is the farrier in charge at the VMTH,
University of California, Davis. He is completing a
Master's Degree in Anatomy and is a Certified
Journeyman in the American Farrier's Association. He
teaches both veterinary students and undergraduates the
art and science of horseshoeing.

Dr. Barry Ball is a professor of equine reproduction and
the recipient of the John Hughes Endowed Chair at the
School of Veterinary Medicine, UC Davis. He is a
leading expert in the area of early pregnancy and sperm
biology.

Dr. Robert Bray is a professor in the Department of
Animal and Veterinary Science and Director of the Equine
Outreach Program at the California State Polytechnic
University, Pomona. His area of expertise is equine
nutrition and is currently writing a practical "hands-on"
equine nutrition book designed for the horse owner.

Brooke Gerard is an attorney with the Law Offices of
Parkman and Gerard in the Los Angeles area. A Princeton
University graduate, Brooke's practice emphasizes civil
litigation and criminal defense. With her lifelong love of
horses, she has sought to focus her practice on areas
relevant to those in the horse business.

Dr. Renee Golenz is an equine veterinarian who owns
and operates her own practice, North Valley Equine
Veterinary Service, in Davis, California. An Ohio State
University graduate, she completed her three-year
residency program at the UC Davis VMTH in large
animal internal medicine and thereafter started her own
equine practice in 1994.

Dr. Dennis Meagher is a veterinary surgeon and
professor emeritus in the School of Veterinary Medicine,
UC Davis. He is a world renowned expert in the field of
orthopedic surgery and continues to work and teach in this
area both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Dave Wilson is a professor in the field of equine
internal medicine at the School of Veterinary Medicine.
His research interests include the prevention and
treatment of infections and respiratory tract diseases. He
is the leading expert on disease prevention and treatment in
the young foal.
