Charles Wilhelm, Owner and Trainer, C.W. Training Center, Castro Valley, CA. Charles is a Classical Naturalist and founder of C.W. Training Center in Castro Valley, CA. He built his foundation training techniques in the John Lyons certification program and also studied classical dressage under Major Miguel Tavora. Charles performs seminars and demonstrations throughout the country and also holds clinics at his facility on a monthly basis. www.cwtraining.com

Phoebe Smith, D.V.M., Resident, Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, UC Davis. Dr. Smith, a Kentucky native, is currently a second-year resident in Large Animal Internal Medicine at UC Davis. She received her veterinary degree from Auburn University in 1997 before completing an internship at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center in Santa Ynez, CA.

Robert Bray, Ph.D., Equine Nutrition Professor, Cal Poly Pomona, Pomona, CA. Dr. Bray is a Professor in the Animal & Veterinary Sciences Department and Coordinator of the Equine Outreach Program at CSU. He is an equine nutritionist and received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in non-ruminant nutrition.

Carolyn Riolo, C.P.A., Scott and Baldwin CPAs, Roseville, CA. Carolyn merged her accounting business with Scott & Baldwin CPAs, in 1999, where she heads the firm's Roseville location. She holds a degree in Tax Accounting from Sacramento State University and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Tax at California State University - Sacramento.

Stephen Duren, M.S., Ph.D,.Equine Nutritionist, Kentucky Equine Research , Inc. Dr. Duren is a native of Idaho and a lifelong horseman. Following graduation from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in animal sciences, Dr. Duren pursued his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Kentucky. During his studies at the University of Kentucky, he concentrated on Equine nutrition and exercise physiology. In 1994, he joined the staff of Kentucky Equine Research and relocated to Idaho.

Kirk Adkins, Farrier and Instructor, UC Davis. Kirk is a farrier at the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital and teaches Farrier Science to both Animal Science majors and veterinary students. He is a member of the American Farrier's Association, a Certified Journeyman and an official farrier for the US-World Endurance event. In addition, he is the owner and President of Equithotics, Inc., a company that developed and markets a special hi-tech performance shoe.

Patti Colbert, Director of Development, AQHA. As an active member of her local, state and national Quarter Horse Associations, Patti Colbert has been a "hands-on" promoter for the horse industry. Her experience in both private and non-profit equine businesses has led to a position as the Senior Director of the American Quarter Horse Association's Foundation. There she oversees program development and fundraising for scholarship, equine research, educational outreach programs and the American Quarter Horse Museum and Heritage Center in Amarillo, Texas
