How To Monitor
Rangeland Resources: Monitoring Residual Dry
Matter
Free
Companion Worksheets Monitoring rangeland or
other vegetation by determining residual dry
matter is important for evaluating rangeland
health. This series of five Excel
spreadsheets provides convenient forms, and
performs the necessary calculations for,
monitoring resid ual dry matter. The
spreadsheets are based on the double
sampling method. This is explained, along
with other monitoring methods in the
publication How To Monitor Rangeland
Resources, available from: Rangeland Manual
