Taurus WIN06: Windows Version
TAURUS
is a package of computer programs for
formulating and analyzing rations for beef
cattle. The new Windows
version, comes on a CD with full installation
instructions. This new program runs on
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP,
and new Windows Vista. The program comes with an
extensive feed library, and allows formulation
and evaluation of rations for various classes of
beef cattle, as well as creating user
selected summarization printouts, including
truck loading and unloading schedules.

Taurus 2.0: DOS Version in English
TAURUS, an integrated software
package developed by the University of
California, is available for DOS computers.
It consists of three modules: formulation and
evaluation of rations (Taurus), prediction of
the performance, costs and returns of a cattle
operation (Profit Projection), and estimation of
energy values of feeds based on proximate
analyses (Feed Tag). TAURUS runs on IBM PC
compatible computers with 640K of memory and 2MB
of disk space.

TAURUS, an integrated software

California, is available in Spanish. It consists

At present, the modules are only partially
translated into Spanish. All of the help message
windows, feed libraries, and customizable
reports are in Spanish. The data entry screens
are in English with the Spanish terms available
in fully translated user's manual.
TAURUS runs on IBM PC compatible computers with
640K of memory and 2MB of disk space.
