Research
We study mechanisms of cellular osmoregulation,
intracellular stress signaling, comparative proteomics and
genomics of environmental adaptation. The emphasis is on
cellular responses and molecular adaptations to stressful
changes of water availability in the extracellular
environment; The focus of our work is on molecular stress
sensors, intracellular signal transduction, and functional
proteome modulation in response to osmotic stress.
