Project:
The focus of my dissertation
project is to determine the feasibility of the application
of whole-genome-enabled selection in beef cattle. This
project will involve an emphasis on quantitative genetics,
including simulation studies and a comparative analysis of
approaches for evaluating performance in bulls.
Additionally, this project will also involve an outreach
component oriented toward large- and small-scale audiences.
