We have a new poster
printer. The instructions for the old
printer do not work with the new printer. Please bring your poster to
Romeo or me to have your poster printed. As
always, you should print your poster a week
before your deadline. That way, if there is
a problem printing it, you have
time to get it resolved before the deadline.
In order to more accurately reflect the
actual cost of posters, posters will be
charged at the rate of $5 per 6 inches.
So, a 4 foot poster is $40. Previously
it was $40 for any size poster. This
change is effective immediately. The
revised policy is below.
Policy and Procedures for Use of the Poster
Printer
- Only posters that are
pertinent to the mission of
the Animal Science
Department will be printed.
Posters for personal use or
for other departments may
not be printed on the
department’s equipment.
- There is a $5
charge for each 6 inches of
length. Lengths will
be rounded to the nearest 6
inches. If the poster
is printing and a design
error is noticed in the
poster as it is printing,
the poster can be canceled.
There will be no charge for
the poster if the poster is
canceled before more than
one foot of paper has been
used. If the poster
does not print as designed
due to a fault in the
printer or associated
software, there will be no
charge for the poster.
- Posters can be
paid for with a departmental
ID or personal check made
out to UC Regents. The
ID or check must be
submitted to IT staff before
the poster is printed.
- Make arrangements
with either Romeo (racapell@ucdavis.edu,
752-2681) or Curt (cmfinley@ucdavis.edu,
752-6175) to print your
poster.
- Contact Romeo if
you have questions with
regard to the design of your
poster. If you have
questions with regard to the
policy and procedure,
contact Curt.
