Since the start of the department's STUDENTS FIRST campaign two years ago, almost 400 individuals have made gifts and pledges totaling over $150,000. A $40,000 will was added to the campaign coffers, and another $338,254, the charitable remainder of an estate, was pledged to the department for undergraduate support, bringing the total to $530,806.
A unique gift and one that brought us a great deal of good publicity was the bull Bill Borror auctioned at his Tehama bull sale for the benefit of Animal Science's STUDENTS FIRST programs.
