Pelissier Undergraduate Scholarship Established
Clem Pelissier, Emeritus Dairy Extension Specialist, and his wife, Jeanne, recently donated $25,000 to the department's STUDENTS FIRST campaign to establish the "Clement and Jeanne Pelissier Scholarship" for undergraduate students majoring in animal science. Students nominated for this award must have an interest in dairy cattle or livestock, with a preference for dairy. In addition to academic excellence, recipients must demonstrate leadership skills as indicated by extracurricular activities, which may include athletics. The department greatly appreciates the generosity of the Pelissiers.
