Deanne Meyer Receives NACAA Award

The California Association of Farm Advisors and Specialists selected Dr. Deanne Meyer, Associate Livestock Waste Management Specialist, Department of Animal Science, as California's 1997 recipient of the National Association of County Agricultural Agents Achievement Award. She is responsible for development of a comprehensive research and extension program to address air and water concerns related to manure nutrient management by commercial livestock enterprises in California. The award was presented at the July, 1997 NACAA Annual Conference in Vermont.
