Don Bath Receives College Award Of Distinction
Dr. Donald L. Bath, Emeritus Extension Dairy Nutrition Specialist, was one of 11 people presented with a College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Award of Distinction at the College Celebration on October 18, 1996. The Award of Distinction is the highest recognition presented by our college to honor individuals whose contributions and achievements have enriched the college's image and reputation and enhanced its ability to serve the public. In his career at UC Davis, Don authored some 350 publications, most of which concerned dairy cattle nutrition, including a widely used textbook entitled "Dairy Cattle: Principles, Practices, Problems, Profits". Dr. Bath was the only extension specialist to have served as President of the American Dairy Science Association. Congratulations, Don! |
