Undergraduates Receive Awards

There were lots of happy faces at the Department's Annual Spring Awards Barbecue held on June 5, 1998 at Putah Creek Lodge on Campus. One-hundred thirteen scholarships, awards and certificates were distributed to our undergraduate students. Two very representative scenes from the barbecue are shown below.

The UC BAR Award is given to graduating seniors in recognition of their service to the Department and involvement in various departmental and student activities. Recipients receive a certificate and a leather piece branded with the UC brand.
