Faculty Adviser Assignments

Faculty Advisers are professors; they provide in-depth information on particular areas of study and serve as a contact point between the student and the faculty. They assist students in selecting specializations and have full authority regarding courses taken to fulfill the student's specialization. In addition, they are responsible for completing degree checks for graduating students and determining degree certification for the major.

Faculty Advisers also discuss research possibilities for students with other faculty, career opportunities, and in general, act as a mentor for the student.

Every student in the ANS, ANM, and AEE majors is assigned to their own Faculty Adviser.

Students are assigned to Faculty Advisers based on their specialization, interests, and the current workload of the faculty adviser. The selection of faculty advisers is done by the Master Adviser and the Advising Associates.

Faculty Advisers handle their own scheduling; you must contact him/her directly to make an appointment.
