NEWS AND EVENTS

  • Russ Hovey received The H. Allen Tucker Lactation and Endocrinology Award at the ASAS meeting—this was a total surprise because we were notified (in error) that he had not received the award.  CONGRATULATIONS RUSS!

OUTREACH

  • Animal Science goats will be kidding in the birthing exhibit at the livestock nursery and ANS wether goats will be shown by the youth who have purchased them  at the market wether show July 15th at 2PM.  Dairy goats will be shown July 24-27th.  
  • Kent Parker (for Open Swine)  & Dana Van Liew (for Open Sheep) are the livestock superintendants for the shows which run July 29- Aug 1st. 
  • Francine Bradley taught GFHA Continuing Education Courses & a PHI Refresher Course. She will represent WPSA at the Poultry Science Association Meetings in St. Louis.
