OUTREACH AND TRAVEL

  • Fred Conte coordinated meetings with Russell C. Redding, Dean College of Agriculture & Environmental Science; Maryann Fox, Director of Prospect Research, Delaware Valley College; & Ermias Kebreab to discuss university core curriculums in sustainable agriculture; and conducted a tour of the UCD Student Farm with Director Mark Van Horn
  • Francine Bradley judged Market Turkeys, Broilers, & Avian Bowl at the Orange County Fair
  • The National Champion Saanen Jr. doe was sired by a UC Davis buck
  • Fred Conte attended State Aquaculture Development Committee meeting in Sacramento & gave the Chair's report on activities of the ADCs Aquaponics Subcommittee
