  • Alison Van Eenennaam presented The 2015 Arthur B. Chapman Lectures in Animal Breeding and Genetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; The A.B. Chapman Lectures in Animal Breeding and Genetics have been presented annually since 1994 by leading world scholars in the various fields related to genetic improvement of livestock
  • Joy Mench presents two webinars on the Coalition for Sustainable Egg Supply research results, to members of the Food Marketing Institute and the National Restaurant Association
  • Frank Mitloehner presented “Sustainable Intensification: Satisfying a growing global demand for animal protein without depleting natural resources” at the Oklahoma Grain and Feed Association Annual Meeting in Oklahoma City
  • Sandra Weisker toured Cosumnes River College Vet Tech class instructed by Dr. Mary Biesiadecki (alum); each year the class views a rodent facility & practice handling, restraint, & clinical techniques
  • Jennifer Chen, Peter Robinson, Nadia Swanepoel, Grazyne Tresoldi, & Cassandra Tucker attended the California Animal Nutrition Conference in Fresno; Nadia presented a talk on "Defining and measuring total losses ('shrink') from well managed corn silage piles, and identifying stages throughout pile life where losses occur," Jennifer & Grazyne presented posters & Cass gave a talk on "Assessing and improving animal welfare on your dairy"
